Individual Counseling
I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an approach that helps people understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or stress, we will work collaboratively to identify and reframe negative thought patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and develop a more balanced and empowered mindset.
I also incorporate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients connect with the emotional roots of their experiences, especially when relational wounds or attachment history are impacting their present lives.
Change Your Perspective, Change Your Life
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps by showing the link between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Depression & Anxiety often stem from distorted thinking patterns, such as all-or-nothing thinking, catastrophizing, or overgeneralizations. These distorted thoughts create painful emotions and unhelpful behaviors.
CBT works by teaching individuals to recognize and challenge these distortions, replacing them with more accurate and balanced thoughts, reframing them in healthier ways. As thoughts shift, emotions also improve, helping you break free from cycles of depression and develop greater resilience.
“Aim for success, not perfection. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life. Remember that fear always lurks behind perfectionism. Confronting your fears and allowing yourself the right to be human can, paradoxically, make yourself a happier and more productive person.”
